Job Overview Rao Consultants is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable International Travel Consultant at our Ahmedabad headquarters. This mid-level, full-time position requires expertise in international ticketing and insurance. The ideal candidate will assist clients in planning and organizing their travel itineraries, ensuring a seamless and efficient travel experience. This role demands excellent communication skills and attention to detail to cater to the needs of our diverse clientele. Qualifications and Skills - Proven experience in the travel industry, with a strong understanding of international ticketing processes and regulations. - Excellent knowledge of travel insurance options, policies, and claims processing to effectively advise clients on the best choices. - Exceptional communication skills to engage with clients and provide superior customer service and ensure all queries are addressed promptly. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client itineraries and travel documentation efficiently. - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the team's success through flexible handling of tasks. - Familiarity with global travel destinations, including cultural knowledge and travel advisories, to offer expert guidance to clients. - Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy in handling travel bookings, itineraries, and related documents. - Proficiency in using travel and booking software systems to manage client reservations and travel arrangements seamlessly. Roles and Responsibilities - Assist clients in planning and booking international travel tickets, providing comprehensive travel solutions tailored to their needs. - Advise clients on travel insurance policies, facilitating the selection and purchase of appropriate coverage for their journeys. - Manage and resolve travel-related issues promptly and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction at every stage of the travel process. - Coordinate with airlines, travel vendors, and third-party service providers to confirm reservations and manage client itineraries. - Stay updated with the latest travel advisories, visa requirements, and global destination insights to offer accurate information. - Maintain detailed client records, updating them regularly to reflect changes in travel plans and preferences. - Collaborate with the visa consulting team to integrate travel and visa processes for students and other travel clients. - Contribute to business growth by identifying opportunities to improve service offerings and client experiences in international travel.
