IT Audit Specialist

Job Description: Location: Dubai (Onsite Secondment – 3 to 6 Months) Start Date: Immediate Travel Required Compensation: Salary + Per Diem + Boarding & Lodging Covered About the Role We are seeking an experienced IT Auditor with strong expertise in Oracle technology stack to work on a secondment basis with our client’s IT team in Dubai. The role requires hands-on involvement in IT audits, controls evaluation, process walkthroughs, and risk assessments across Oracle systems and related integrations. The ideal candidate must be able to travel immediately, work in a fast-paced client environment, and ensure quality delivery aligned to internal audit and IT governance standards. Key Responsibilities 1. IT Audit & Controls - Conduct end-to-end audits for Oracle applications (Oracle E-Business Suite / Oracle Fusion Cloud / Oracle Databases). - Review IT General Controls (ITGC), application controls, and automated/manual controls. - Evaluate access management, change management, backup & recovery, configuration management, and incident management processes. - Assess risk areas and provide recommendations to strengthen IT governance and compliance posture. 2. Process Walkthroughs & Documentation - Perform detailed walkthroughs with client teams for critical business processes (Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, HR, Projects, etc.). - Prepare audit workpapers, risk & control matrices, and documentation in compliance with audit methodology and standards. - Review Oracle setups, workflows, roles & responsibilities, and segregation of duties (SoD). 3. Technical Evaluation - Analyze Oracle system logs, database configurations, patch levels, and system architecture. - Evaluate interface controls, integrations, custom developments, and security configurations. - Work closely with IT teams to validate remediation actions and verify compliance. 4. Client Collaboration - Work directly with client stakeholders (IT, Finance, Business Process Owners). - Provide clear, actionable audit findings and highlight high-risk areas. - Support the client during internal, external, or regulatory audits. 5. Reporting - Prepare audit reports, compliance summaries, and executive presentations. - Track audit observations, risks, remediation timelines, and closure updates. Required Skills & Experience Technical Skills - Strong experience in IT audit for Oracle EBS or Oracle Fusion Cloud. - Understanding of Oracle architecture, workflows, setups, roles, and modules. - Good knowledge of ITGC, SoD assessments, and application control testing. - Hands-on experience with SQL queries, logs, and configuration review. - Knowledge of control frameworks: COBIT, ISO 27001, SOX, or similar. Professional Skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work onsite at client premises and manage senior stakeholder interactions. Experience - 4–10 years of relevant IT audit or Oracle consulting experience. - Prior experience working in internal audit, Big-4 consulting, or IT governance teams is preferred. Travel & Onsite Requirements - Immediate travel to Dubai is mandatory. - Onsite presence at the client’s premises throughout the secondment duration. - Candidate will receive: - Per diem allowance - Boarding & lodging covered by the company/client Employment Type - Secondment / Project-Based Assignment (3 to 6 Months) - Extension possible based on performance and client requirements.
