This unique role offers the opportunity to combine your knowledge in astrophysics and cosmology with innovative AI projects, helping to advance the frontiers of research and technology. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, review, and refine AI training materials focused on astrophysics and cosmology topics. - Collaborate with data scientists and AI developers to ensure technical accuracy and scientific integrity in project deliverables. - Provide detailed feedback on AI outputs, addressing misconceptions or errors in scientific content. - Design and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance AI comprehension of complex physical phenomena. - Translate complex astrophysical concepts into clear, actionable insights for AI system improvement. - Contribute to ongoing AI model evaluation by assessing its understanding of advanced theoretical constructs. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging research in astrophysics and cosmology to inform AI enhancements. Required Skills and Qualifications: - PhD in Physics, Astrophysics, Cosmology, or a closely related field. - Deep understanding of theoretical and observational astrophysics and cosmology. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and precision. - Experience in teaching or mentoring in scientific or technical domains. - Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities for evaluating complex scientific information. - Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or data-driven research environments. - Demonstrated ability to distill and communicate intricate scientific concepts to diverse audiences. Preferred Qualifications: - Hands-on experience with AI model training, evaluation, or prompt engineering. - Prior involvement in interdisciplinary projects bridging physical science and technology. - Publications or presentations in reputed astrophysics or cosmology forums.
