Job Description Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, Java Kafka In this role, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and deployment of scalable Java-based microservices and Kafka applications. You will work in a fast-paced Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions using modern development practices and cloud-native technologies. Responsibilities .Develop and maintain scalableJava 8+backend services usingSpring BootandMicroservices architecture. .Design and implement Kafka-based solutions for real-time data streaming and processing. .Write and maintain unit and integration tests usingJUnitand related testing frameworks. .Ensure code quality through peer reviews and automated testing pipelines. .Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines usingGithub,CircleCI, andJenkins. .Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of services. .Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos. .Work closely with Product Owners, QA, and other developers to deliver features on time. Qualifications we seek in you Minimum Qualifications .Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. .Hands-on of experience in Java application development and Maintenance .Strong hands-on experience with: oJava 8 or above versions oSpring Boot oMicroservices oKafka oJunit or Unit Testing or test-driven development .Experience working inAgile/Scrumenvironments. .Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently .Excellent Interpersonal skills and effective communication skills to interact with Client Preferred Qualifications/ Skills .Strong hands-on experience with: .CI/CD tools: Git, Jenkins, CircleCI .Cloud platforms: GCP or similar .Angular, Rxjs, Ngrx .Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest or Jasmine. .Experience with containerization tools likeDockerand orchestration withKubernetes. .Familiarity with monitoring tools likePrometheus,Grafana, orStack driver. - - - - - -
