Job Description Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, Java Kafka In this role, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and deployment of scalable Java-based microservices and Kafka applications. You will work in a fast-paced Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions using modern development practices and cloud-native technologies. Responsibilities - Develop and maintain scalableJava 8+backend services usingSpring BootandMicroservices architecture. - Design and implement Kafka-based solutions for real-time data streaming and processing. - Write and maintain unit and integration tests usingJUnitand related testing frameworks. - Ensure code quality through peer reviews and automated testing pipelines. - Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines usingGithub,CircleCI, andJenkins. - Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of services. - Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos. - Work closely with Product Owners, QA, and other developers to deliver features on time. Qualifications we seek in you Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. - Hands-on of experience in Java application development and Maintenance - Strong hands-on experience with: - Java 8 or above versions - Spring Boot - Microservices - Kafka - Junit or Unit Testing or test-driven development - Experience working inAgile/Scrumenvironments. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently - Excellent Interpersonal skills and effective communication skills to interact with Client Preferred Qualifications/ Skills - Strong hands-on experience with: - CI/CD tools: Git, Jenkins, CircleCI - Cloud platforms: GCP or similar - Angular, Rxjs, Ngrx - Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest or Jasmine. - Experience with containerization tools likeDockerand orchestration withKubernetes. - Familiarity with monitoring tools likePrometheus,Grafana, orStack driver. - - - - - -
