Job Title: Podcast Editor (Remote – Full-Time) Company: Medical Centric Location: Remote (India-based applicants preferred) Employment Type: Full-Time (Remote) Experience Required: Minimum 2–3 years in video/audio editing (podcast/long-form preferred) Compensation: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month (based on experience & portfolio quality) About Us Medical Centric is a fast-growing health-education media brand creating long-form podcasts and short-form content watched by millions. We sit at the intersection of medicine, storytelling, and digital media—and we’re looking for a Podcast Editor who can turn raw conversations into engaging, binge-worthy episodes and social clips. Key Responsibilities - Edit long-form podcast episodes (video + audio) for YouTube and audio platforms. - Cut 10–20 short clips per episode for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and other platforms . - Clean up audio (basic noise reduction, EQ, balancing levels) for clear, professional soun d - . Add subtitles/captions, basic graphics, and transitions (no heavy VFX require d - ). Collaborate with the host, creative director, and thumbnail team to finalize each epis o - de. Organize project files, maintain version control, and meet weekly publishing deadl ines. Qualifica - tions Proven experience editing podcasts, talk shows, or long-form YouTube co n - tent. Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro (any one is fine, more is a - plus). Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, and what makes conversations “hooky” for Y - ouTube. Ability to create clean, readable subtitles and export in multiple aspect ratios (16:9, 9: 1 - 6, 1:1). Basic knowledge of audio enhancement (noise reduction, compression, EQ) is - required. Strong attention to detail, ability to take feedback, and consistency with - deadlines. A showreel/portfolio with podcast or long-form edits + a few short-form clips i s mandatory. 📌 Note: This is a 100% remote role. No relocation or on-site presence is required.
