Job Description Role: Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist Location: Baikunthpur, Korea Chhattisgarh Roles and Responsibilities of M&E Officers: Planning and Monitoring the WOTR Projects: - M&E Officer is responsible for planning and monitoring the projects that clearly outline all indicators tracked at different monitoring levels Input, Activities, Output and Outcome as per the sanctioned projects and WOTR's overall indicators. - Utilize and adapt the existing M&E framework that serves as a reference to ensure consistent data collection, analysis, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle. Data Collection: - Develop and adapt data collection tools for capturing indicators that require primary data collection. - Leveraging the WOTR's app for data collection and management. It can minimize duplication of effort caused by parallel data systems and help streamline our overall M&E processes. - Conduct regular field visits to project sites, communities, and institutions to collect quantitative, qualitative data or mixed method where applicable. - Facilitate capacity-building sessions for project team members to enable them to collect data and improve data quality. Data Quality Assurance: - Conduct regular data quality checks to identify and document inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or gaps in field data for your assigned geography or project area. - Analyze recurring data quality issues across different locations to identify systemic challenges. - Validate the collected information through spot checks and triangulation with secondary data sources. - Collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective measures and strengthen data collection and validation processes. Analysis and Reporting: - Assist the Project Manager or Regional Manager in generating data-driven insights and preparing analytical and progress reports for internal and donor reporting requirements. - Participate in review meetings to share progress updates, insights and data trends. - Provide actionable recommendations to strengthen implementation and M&E processes. Knowledge Management and Documentation: - Document field learnings and emerging best practices to inform programme improvement. - Ensure that all finalized M&E reports are uploaded to the central M&E repository as part of the organization's knowledge management process. - Document success stories, case studies, challenges, and innovations from the field where applicable. - Any other tasks assigned by the organization. Education/Experience/Language requirements A. Education - Master's Degree in Statistics, Sociology, Agriculture Economics/Economics, Development Studies, Rural Development, Anthropology, Geography, Water policy and Governance or bachelor's degree in agriculture technology, Civil Engineering or Post graduate diploma in Development Management. B. Work Experience - At least one year experience in the design, development and/or implementation of M&E systems, in the Development sector or - A minimum of one year's experience in research and evaluation design, reporting, and knowledge management is required or - A minimum of one year of experience setting up and maintaining information and data management platforms is required and - Quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills including the use of software such as Power BI, looker studio, tableau, and excel/google sheets and familiarity with routine management of information systems is highly desirable. - Experience using statistical packages such as SPSS and STATA is an added advantage. - Given the required capability, women candidates will be preferred Send your application to [Confidential Information] with the subject line Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist and fill the Form: https://forms.gle/qSG9RhoGJUKnsoPV7
