Join our global team and see what makes Mitratech a truly exceptional place to work Required Skills & Experience Technical Expertise - 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong emphasis on architecting, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks. - Deep expertise with automation tools and languages: Selenium with C# (preferred) or Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Visual Studio 2019+. - Solid understanding of BDD principles and associated tools (e.g., SpecFlow). - Proficiency in leveraging AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate test creation and analysis. - Strong experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured). - Proficiency with modern source control (Git) and CI/CD practices; ADO pipeline knowledge is a strong plus. - Demonstrated experience in Non-Functional testing (performance, security, accessibility) is advantageous. Leadership & Strategy - Proven ability to guide, mentor, and inspire a team of QA engineers, fostering skill development and high performance. - Strategic experience in developing, articulating, and executing comprehensive, product-level test strategies. - Demonstrated ownership and initiative, driving complex issues from identification through to resolution. - Ability to influence cross-functional teams (Development, DevOps, Product) to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle. - An advanced aptitude for critical thinking and analytical problem-solving. Communication & Process - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts and strategic vision to diverse internal stakeholders. - Proactive in identifying and communicating potential roadblocks, risks, and dependencies to senior leadership and relevant parties. - Deep familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and proficiency with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail). Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Define and drive the comprehensive testing strategy for the product, integrating AI-assisted tools to optimize coverage, velocity, and efficiency. - Architect and oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust, scalable, and AI-enhanced automated test suites (regression, integration, performance). - Champion the adoption of modern technologies and creative testing solutions to produce high-quality, reusable, and maintainable automation. - Lead and foster an automation-first mindset within the scrum team and the broader engineering organization. - Establish best practices for automation maintenance, continuous improvement, and troubleshooting of pipeline failures, empowering the team to resolve blockers effectively. - Provide technical mentorship and strategic guidance to team members, elevating the overall technical capabilities of the QA function. - Drive a culture of high quality, personal accountability, and customer-focused execution. - Collaborate closely with product owners and development leads to align quality initiatives with product timelines and business objectives.
