Job Description Skill: Azure Databricks Experience: 6 to 9 years Location: AIA-Gurgaon Job Summary We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 8 to 12 years of experience specializing in MS Power BI to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model focusing on developing and optimizing data visualization solutions. Experience in Research and Development is a plus enhancing our innovative projects. This role operates during the day shift with no travel required. Responsibilities - Develop and implement advanced data visualization solutions using MS Power BI to support business decision-making processes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with business objectives. - Optimize existing Power BI reports and dashboards for improved performance and user experience. - Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. - Ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting thorough testing and validation of Power BI solutions. - Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and industry trends to continuously enhance reporting capabilities. - Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Power BI reports and dashboards in a timely manner. - Document processes and best practices for Power BI development to support knowledge sharing and team efficiency. - Engage with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver customized reporting solutions. - Contribute to the development of data governance policies to ensure compliance and security of data assets. - Leverage domain knowledge in Research and Development to create insightful and impactful data visualizations. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to maintain high-quality standards. - Drive innovation by exploring new tools and technologies that can enhance data visualization capabilities. Qualifications - Possess strong proficiency in MS Power BI with a proven track record of developing complex reports and dashboards. - Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. - Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams. - Have a solid understanding of data modeling and database concepts to support efficient data visualization. - Show experience in Research and Development which is considered a valuable asset for this role. - Display a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies. - Maintain a detail-oriented mindset ensuring accuracy and precision in all deliverables.
