Job Description Essential duties and responsibilities: - Understand memory specifications, UFS / PCIe protocols and come up with System design for memory products. - Deliver memory product design specification documents and test objectives. - Align the development and validation process with cross-functional teams. - Create internal and external specifications - Learn constantly, dive into new areas with unfamiliar technologies, and embrace the ambiguity of problem-solving. - Apply critical thinking to the results/data of competitive analysis and provide guidance for product development. - Work with cross-functional teams, including ASIC, Firmware, and Validation, to ensure seamless product development. - Debug Analysis of Product validation issues and come up with the System level solution Qualifications REQUIRED: - Experience with C/C++ in developing Embedded FW & scripting automation using Python - Proven ability to work as part of a global team in multiple geographies - B.Sc. in Computer Science or Software / Computer / Electrical Engineering, cum laude - Requires 15+ years of experience in RT / embedded systems architecture - Multi-disciplinary experience, including Firmware, HW, and ASIC design Preferred - Knowledge of UFS, PCIe Gen5/6 technology is an advantage - Previous experience with storage systems, protocols, and NAND flash strong advantage - Experience in working with DDR4/5, HBM is an advantage - Experience in working with FPGA validation is an advantage Skills - Capable of developing wide system view for complex embedded systems - Excellent interpersonal skills - Strong can-do attitude Additional Information Sandisk thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
