relevant component parts Ability to identify improvement opportunities both at design and granular operational level Ability to work effectively as part of a team and individually with minimal supervision to strict timeframes Focused organised and results-oriented Ability to create effective work relationships across business borders Ability to understand policy standards and procedural requirements Ability to create maintain documentation to a high standard Good understanding of the risks related to poor data Good verbal and written communication skills Desirable Advantage Experience of working in a Data Management function understanding of the risks related to poor data Strong experience working with data and or data remediation and reconciliation at multiple level Experience in multiple phases of the project lifecycle preferably with exposure to business project delivery roles Exposure to a structured development lifecycle and related deliverable and work processes Consultancy background an advantage Knowledge of SCB standard processes systems project management implementation and post implementation processes Experience in banking financial institution People and Talent Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners Maintain all basic operations discipline by employing right framework for monitoring productivity efficiency Layers Spans Optimally utilise the available resources within each cells Ensure high level of employee engagement Act as SME for the entire team and provide solutions for execution Provide inputs through Data Working Group for inclusion exclusion or correction of DQMs for in-scope CDEs Continuous endeavour to bring in automated solutions Provide inputs for inclusion of any CDEs based on observations through data analysis conducted Adherence to laws and regulations internal risk and compliance policies and the Group Code of Conduct Completion of all mandatory risk and compliance training including e-learning within stated timeframes Proactive identification of risks and concerns including escalation to all relevant stakeholders Risk Management Identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures Governance Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the Group s arrangements to deliver effective governance oversight and controls in the business Regulatory Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group s Values and Code of Conduct Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics including regulatory and business conduct across Standard Chartered Bank This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with in letter and spirit all applicable laws regulations guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct Lead India GBO DQ Investigation team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank s Conduct Principles Effectively and collaboratively identify escalate mitigate and resolve risk conduct and compliance matters Key Stakeholder GBO GPOS CCIB CLDAT Key Responsibilities Ensure timely accurate and complete analysis of the data Accountable for monitoring that any errors are corrected or questions are answered by the appropriate internal groups Conduct data analysis and identify the root cause for the exceptions Consult on data improvements Review submitted data to detect accuracy problems and anomalies and help departments correct data both current and historical Support and or research various performance reports and provide regular summary reports and analysis to Management Assess requirements and provide feedback requirements for customized reporting based upon both preformatted system reports and customized extracts to the Management team data consumers data producers process owners and working groups as required Other Responsibilities Scoping of data quality issues identified through various channels including automated periodic profiling reports self-identified issues and thematic issues highlighted by stakeholders Maintain Investigation backlog plan and prioritise for action based on established prioritisation framework Undertake investigation for prioritised issues allocated to team Conduct root cause analysis of exceptions based on understanding of Group policy requirements process and procedures and current system functionality Identify high-level corrective options across processes and systems that will resolve prevent occurrence of the data quality issues Identify cases requiring data remediation data enhancement and handover to remediation team for further action Track issues for progress and ensure that stakeholders are made aware of current data quality exceptions and their impact Provide periodic updates on investigation backlog and generate data quality metrics Proactive identification of data quality issues arising across client data domains and risks emanating from them Ensure alignment of assigned work items and activities to the strategic and tactical direction of the Data team Identify opportunities for streamlining investigation activities as well as other components of the exception management process with the objective to improve coverage efficiency and accuracy Identify external investigation blockers and propose effective solutions Proactive identification of risks and concerns including escalation to all relevant stakeholders Adherence to laws and regulations internal risk and compliance policies and the Group Code of Conduct Completion of all mandatory risk and compliance training including e-learning within stated timeframes Safeguard all data by
