About Lokal Access Empowerment for Bharat through AI and Local Language Internet Lokal is India s largest regional content and services platform built for the 500 million internet users from tier 2 towns Founded by IIT alumni Lokal started in 2018 to address the lack of relevant local content and now goes beyond content to solve real everyday problems of Bharat Growing as a house of apps Lokal is evolving into an AI-driven discovery and access platform connecting users in tier 2 India with the experts tools and knowledge they ve historically lacked access to Lokal Matrimony - Location-based matchmaking apps focused on hyperlocal compatibility Lokal Jobs - Hyperlocal job discovery platform connecting blue- and grey-collar workers with nearby opportunities GyanTV - Skill-based learning in regional languages stocks photography small business more Dostt - Make new friends through voice chats games and real authentic conversations Eaze - A safe space to explore emotional well-being via community-driven support AstroLokal - Instant access to trusted astrologers through audio and chat And more - 10 new apps in testing exploration across agricultural advisory legal advisory financial guidance and AI-powered personal assistants Role Overview We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Script Writer Hindi to join our dynamic Marketing Product team at Lokal team The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of short-form storytelling social media trends and audience psychology You ll be responsible for conceptualizing and writing engaging scripts for videos ads and branded content that resonate with Hindi-speaking audiences across platforms like Instagram YouTube and Facebook Key Responsibilities Write sharp attention-grabbing hooks to maximize engagement and retention Craft platform-specific content for Instagram YouTube Facebook and other channels Analyse ad metrics CTR watch time drop-off rates to refine creative strategy Collaborate closely with video editors designers and creative strategists to bring ideas to life Translate copy ideas into strong visual narratives and impactful storytelling sequences Identify and adapt to emerging content and creative trends Simplify complex ideas into relatable and emotionally resonant content Utilize knowledge of transitions camera shots and pacing to visualize scripts effectively Constantly read and watch diverse content books short films ads to expand creative vocabulary and visual literacy Provide creative inputs during production to ensure content quality and tone consistency Requirements Any Bachelor s degree 1-3 years of experience in content writing scriptwriting or copywriting preferably digital video content Proven ability to write short-form content with a strong storytelling structure Strong command over Hindi and English written and spoken Deep understanding of Indian audiences and cultural nuances Familiarity with digital metrics and performance-based storytelling Must bring their own laptop to perform day-to-day tasks Why Join Us We re scaling fast with strong fundamentals on a mission to empower millions through AI and access At Lokal you ll take ownership from day one build for real impact and help redefine the roadmap of how Bharat connects to opportunities knowledge and experts
