Job Description Marketing Specialist (In-office) Hyderabad Location: Jubilee Hills/Secunderabad, Hyderabad Experience: 13 years Salary: 2,50,000 3,50,000 per annum Timings: 10:00 AM 6:30 PM, Monday to Friday About the Role We're looking for a hands-on, creative, and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to join our growing beauty brand. This is an all-rounder role where you'll work across content, marketing, operations, and offline events. If you love skincare and beauty, enjoy building things from scratch, have an eye for design, and can switch between creative + operational tasks this role is perfect for you. This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership, can troubleshoot independently, and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. Key Responsibilities Marketing Strategy - Work closely with the founder to develop marketing plans aligned with brand goals & customer insights - Support new product development through market research, trend tracking & competitor analysis - Prepare weekly performance summaries for content, engagement, ads, website traffic & conversions Content & Campaigns - Plan, shoot & execute in-house content for social media, website, emailers & campaigns - Work with external partners to run paid ad campaigns (Meta/Google) and assist with performance tracking - Repurpose community questions into educational content to strengthen brand positioning - Monitor metrics across platforms and propose improvements - Support go-to-market strategy for new launches Product Launches - Coordinate product shoots, create briefs & manage editing, timelines & publishing - Plan positioning, pricing, communication & promotional rollout for each launch Brand Management - Maintain consistency in visual identity & tone across digital, packaging & offline channels - Review creatives and ensure alignment with brand aesthetic & storytelling Website & Marketplace Operations - Manage Shopify backend update banners, listings, pricing, inventory & offers - Oversee product descriptions, images & launch pages - Coordinate listings & catalog accuracy on marketplaces (e.g., Amazon) - Troubleshoot basic website/Shopify issues with developers when needed Offline Events & Collaborations - Identify exhibitions, pop-ups & offline opportunities - Handle planning, stall setup, logistics & inventory - Represent the brand on-ground, manage sales, demos & customer engagement Order Fulfillment & Customer Support - Handle order packing, labeling & dispatch coordination when needed - Work with courier partners on pickups, delays & RTOs - Respond to basic customer queries and ensure timely post-order updates Influencer & PR Outreach - Identify and maintain relationships with influencers, creators & PR contacts - Manage seeding, follow-ups & outreach trackers - Track ROI, content received & visibility generated Vendor & Logistics Coordination - Coordinate with printing vendors, designers & suppliers for labels/packaging - Assist with execution of marketing collaterals (flyers, stall materials, gifting kits, etc.) Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Design, Business or a related field - 13 years of experience in marketing, preferably in skincare, beauty, D2C or e-commerce - Strong understanding of social media content, brand aesthetics & basic design (Canva) - Comfortable managing Shopify backend & basic website tasks - Proactive, organized, reliable & able to manage multiple tasks independently - Passionate about skincare, beauty trends & building brands from the ground up - Strong communication skills & professional email etiquette Nice-to-Have Skills - Basic photo/video editing (Illustrator, Lightroom) - Familiarity with Meta/Google ad dashboards - Experience with exhibitions/events or retail pop-ups - Interest in skincare ingredients & formulations
