Responsibilities - Develop and maintain applications on the AS 400 platform using RPG, CL, and SQL - Analyze user requirements and convert them into technical specifications - Perform unit testing and support system testing and deployment - Debug and resolve production issues by providing timely solutions - Optimize system performance and ensure data integrity - Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements - Document technical designs, procedures, and troubleshooting Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - Proven experience of min. 5+ yrs. as an AS 400 developer, with expertise in RPG, CL, and SQL - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Experience with system integration and data migration on AS 400 - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment - May have to work in different shifts depending upon the client request Skills - RPG programming - CL programming - SQL - IBM AS 400 - ASW Application - Database management - System integration - Data migration - Debugging and troubleshooting - Performance optimization (ref:hirist.tech)
