Company: Auxocare, USA Work Category: WFH Pay: Negotiation based on current CTC Job description: Job Description: Python/Django Web Application Developer (5+ Years Experience) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Python/Django Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and APIs. The ideal candidate will have strong backend expertise, a deep understanding of Django’s architecture, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, maintainable software solutions. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain web applications and RESTful APIs using Django/Django REST Framework. - Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards. - Collaborate with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and DevOps engineers to deliver complete end-to-end features. - Optimize application performance, scalability, and security. - Integrate third-party services and APIs (e.g., payment gateways, cloud storage, authentication). - Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architectural decisions. - Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies. - Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems. - Work closely with product managers to define technical requirements and deliver solutions within deadlines. Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 5+ years of professional experience in Python web application development. - Strong hands-on experience with Django and Django REST Framework (DRF). - Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL or other relational databases. - Knowledge of Celery, Redis, or other task queues and caching systems. - Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React/Vue (good to have). - Understanding of software design patterns, ORMs, and REST API principles. - Experience with Docker, Linux, and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure). - Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and TDD principles. - Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills. Good to Have (Optional) - Experience with FastAPI, GraphQL, or microservices architecture. - Knowledge of asynchronous programming (asyncio, channels). - Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
