The Opportunity Location: Remote Experience: 0-2 years Nature of Employment: Contract As a Reality TV writer, your role will involve creating engaging content focused on US based Reality shows. General understanding of all mainstream US Centric reality TV shows is a must. The candidate must also have a good knowledge base of the following shows - Big Brother, Love Island, RHOA, 90 Days Fiance, and Below Deck. You must be an active follower of all mainstream Reality TV shows based in the USA and be willing & capable to write in depth articles on the same. Ability to come with unique angles and identify rising trends is also a must. Key Responsibilities - Write 4-5 articles a day. - Review reality TV shows (thorough research skills mandatory). - Monitor day-to-day controversies and news centering on the shows, keep tabs on social media trends, and become familiar with Google Trends. - Pitch interesting story ideas. - Open to feedback from the editorial team. - Able to meet deadlines, available for real-time coverage of off-field angles when they're pushed out. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in English/ Journalism/ Mass communication is preferred. - Has at least 2 years of experience in entertainment reporting. - Understands industry terms and has previous success in breaking entertainment reporting. - Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
