Company Description About Sopra Steria Sopra Steria a major Tech player in Europe with 50 000 employees in nearly 30 countries is recognised for its consulting digital services and solutions It helps its clients drive their digital transformation and obtain tangible and sustainable benefits The Group provides end-to-end solutions to make large companies and organisations more competitive by combining in-depth knowledge of a wide range of business sectors and innovative technologies with a collaborative approach Sopra Steria places people at the heart of everything it does and is committed to putting digital to work for its clients in order to build a positive future for all In 2024 the Group generated revenues of EUR5 8 billion The world is how we shape it Key Responsibilities Source identify and engage qualified IT professionals across the UK using multiple channels LinkedIn job boards referrals social media networking events etc Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle from requirement gathering and candidate sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for critical technology roles e g software engineers solution architects DevOps engineers cloud specialists etc Conduct initial candidate screening to assess technical and cultural fit Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements define candidate personas and create effective sourcing strategies Stay updated on UK recruitment trends market intelligence compensation benchmarks and competitor hiring strategies Ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process Maintain accurate candidate data and recruitment reports in the ATS Applicant Tracking System Preferred Prior experience recruiting for contract IT positions in the UK Familiarity with UK compliance and hiring practices Experience using modern ATS platforms and recruitment automation tools Total Experience Expected 05-08 years Qualifications Required Skills Qualifications Bachelor s degree or equivalent professional experience 3-6 years of proven experience in IT recruitment specifically for roles based in the UK region Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies and recruitment tools including LinkedIn Recruiter job boards and Boolean search Excellent understanding of technical job roles skills and market landscape in the UK Strong communication stakeholder management and negotiation skills Ability to work independently manage multiple priorities and meet hiring targets Experience working with global teams or clients is a plus Additional Information At our organization we are committed to fighting against all forms of discrimination We foster a work environment that is inclusive and respectful of all differences All of our positions are open to people with disabilities
