About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join MethodHub's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and troubleshooting our advanced network infrastructure, including Layer 3 networks, cloud environments, and security systems. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in routing, switching, firewall management, and cloud network architecture. The Network Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our network operations, supporting our clients needs and internal business functions. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work with diverse technologies and contribute to large-scale projects that shape the future of enterprise networking and cloud connectivity. Qualifications The successful candidate will possess a strong academic background with a Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA is preferred but not mandatory. You should have between 8 to 10 years of professional experience in network engineering or management, demonstrating a proven track record in designing, deploying, and maintaining complex network systems. Industry-recognized certifications such as CCIE, PMP, ITIL, or advanced cloud certifications (GCP, AWS) are highly desirable. Candidates must demonstrate excellent leadership, project management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. A strong understanding of both on-premises and cloud-based network architectures is essential, along with a commitment to continuous improvement and learning. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: - Oversee management and troubleshooting of Layer 3 networks (TCP/IP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP). - Ensure proper configuration and issue resolution for NAT, IPv4, and firewall policies. - Lead cloud network strategy and troubleshooting for GCP and AWS environments. - Enforce change management processes and manage on-call operational support. - Eliminate outdated processes, establish work intake systems, and implement SLAs for network changes. Required Skills - Hands-on experience with more than two networking technologies (Routing, Switching, Firewall, Load balancer, etc.) and at least one public cloud environment (GCP, AWS, etc.). - Expert knowledge of Layer 3 networking (TCP/IP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP). - Advanced proficiency in NAT, IPv4, and firewall operations (TCP/UDP). - Deep understanding of firewall architecture with Palo Alto and Checkpoint. - Knowledge of transport layers such as MPLS, internet, and cloud connect. - Experience with DHCP, IPAM (Infoblox) technologies. - Proven expertise in cloud network management, specifically with GCP and AWS. - Strong leadership skills in change management and operational support. - Ability to drive process optimization, SLA adherence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
