Company Description BrandsJar is a fully integrated digital creative agency that specialises in providing a range of branding and marketing services. BrandsJar focuses on creating tailored solutions that help businesses grow by strategically enhancing their brand's presence and growth. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a WordPress and Shopify Developer located in Pune. The Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function. Tasks include both back-end and front-end development, ensuring responsive web design, and working closely with the design team to implement web design elements and create seamless user experiences. Role - Develop, customise, and maintain WordPress websites (themes, plugins, WooCommerce) and Shopify storefronts (Online Store 2.0, Liquid, custom apps). - Integrate APIs, payment gateways, third-party apps, and back-end systems. - Optimise for performance, security, and SEO—delivering Core Web Vitals compliance. - Implement responsive, accessible, and pixel-perfect UI/UX using HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript. - Collaborate with designers, marketers, and project managers to translate requirements into technical builds. - Maintain documentation, provide technical handovers, and ensure long-term stability of projects. Requirements - Advanced skills in PHP, MySQL, Liquid, JavaScript/TypeScript. - Deep knowledge of Shopify and Wordpress latest extensibility features. - Proven ability to troubleshoot performance issues and implement caching, CDN, and optimisation strategies. - Strong understanding of web security best practices. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
