Role: AI Developer Intern As an AI Developer Intern, you will work on the intelligence layer behind Constructure AI. You will help improve how our system retrieves, interprets, and reasons over large volumes of technical construction data so that answers are accurate, grounded, and useful in practice. This is a hands on applied AI role, not academic research. What You Will Do - Experiment with retrieval and reasoning strategies to improve answer quality and reduce hallucinations. - Evaluate LLM behavior, including prompts, system setups, failure patterns, and guardrails. - Help design internal representations such as schemas, entities, and relationships that make project information easier to search and reason about. - Work with cloud based workflows to run experiments, evaluations, and batch jobs. - Collaborate with product and engineering to turn your experiments into features that ship. Who This Is Ideal For - 3rd year CS, AI, or ML undergraduates. Exceptional 2nd and 4th years will also be considered. - Strong Python skills and solid machine learning fundamentals. - Familiarity with or curiosity about LLMs, retrieval, and evaluation. - Comfortable working with unstructured and messy real world data. - Self directed, curious, and motivated by making AI useful in production, not just on benchmarks. - Experience or interest in AWS or other cloud platforms is a plus. What You Will Learn - How to build and evaluate retrieval plus reasoning systems in a real product. - How to think in terms of evaluation, iteration, and reliability, not just whether the model answers something. - How to design representations and abstractions for complex domain data in construction. - How applied AI decisions affect user trust, product experience, and business value. Compensation - Paid Internship - Duration: 3 to 6 months Locations - Chandigarh - Bangalore Hybrid or on site depending on team needs, with some alignment to US and India time zones where required.
