Are you a hands-on technical lead who thrives on solving the toughest engineering challenges? The Modern Product Engineering BU is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our elite Solver Squad. The Solver Squad is a core group of expert engineers responsible for tackling our most complex client projects, building mission-critical internal platforms, and setting the standard for technical excellence. As a Lead, you won't just manage projects; you'll be in the trenches, architecting solutions, writing clean code, and mentoring a team of talented engineers to deliver exceptional results. What You'll Do what you will wake up to solve. - Lead Technical Design & Development: Architect and lead the end-to-end development of scalable, cloud-native applications. You'll guide the team on technical decisions while remaining hands-on, contributing high-quality, production-grade code. - Build Full-Stack Solutions: Drive the implementation of front-end experiences (React, Angular, Vue) and backend micro-services (Node.Js, Python, Go, Java) that are built for performance and extensibility. - Mentor & Elevate the Team: Foster a culture of excellence by mentoring junior and mid-level engineers. Lead code reviews, promote best practices in testing and security (OWASP, CI/CD), and guide the team's professional growth. - Drive Cloud-Native & API-First Architecture: Be the expert in designing stateless, loosely coupled services optimized for GCP and AWS (e.G., Cloud Run, Lambda, ECS). Champion robust REST/gRPC API design and implementation. - Partner with Clients & Stakeholders: Act as a key technical partner for our clients. Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, manage project deliverables using agile methodologies, and ensure successful project outcomes. - Innovate and Build Reusable IP: Spearhead the creation of reusable assets, frameworks, and code libraries that accelerate future projects and establish our unique technical advantage. Proven Experience: - A minimum of 4+ years in professional software engineering and end-to-end product development, with a portfolio to back it up. - AI-Native Expertise: Demonstrable experience building AI-driven solutions. You must be proficient in using AI coding assistants (e.G., GitHub Copilot, Tabnine) in your daily workflow. - Business Impact: A track record of solving complex, challenging business problems and delivering solutions that provide measurable value. - Client-Facing Acumen: You have direct experience working in a client-facing role, confidently translating business needs into technical specifications and managing stakeholder expectations. - Multi-Cloud Proficiency: Hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying scalable solutions on at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Technical Excellence: Deep expertise in modern software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum), programming languages, and frameworks, coupled with a history of delivering complex projects on time.
