Role Description The Asian CDP is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru South at The Den Hotel. The role involves overseeing the preparation and presentation of high-quality Asian cuisine while adhering to strict food safety, hygiene, and quality standards. Responsibilities include managing kitchen operations, training junior chefs, menu planning, food cost management, and collaborating with the broader culinary team for efficiency and excellence. The Asian CDP will play a critical role in maintaining the hotel's brand standards and delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests. Qualifications - Proficiency in preparing and presenting a variety of authentic Asian cuisines with knowledge of traditional and modern cooking techniques. - Experience in kitchen operations, team management, and maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards. - Strong culinary skills in menu planning, food inventory management, and cost control to optimize kitchen performance. - Ability to collaborate effectively with a dynamic team and contribute to innovative menu design and guest satisfaction. - Professional culinary training or diploma in culinary arts from an accredited institution; relevant work experience in a five-star or luxury hotel preferred. - Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering consistent quality. - Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand kitchen environment.
