About Vecmocon:
We are a Vehicle Intelligence & Analytics startup incubated at IIT Delhi working in the sustainable and clean mobility space. Vecmocon is making the EV ecosystem smart, connected and reliable by using its state-of-the-art solutions and data-centric approach, to drive the electric mobility and clean energy revolution in India. We make electric vehicles primarily 2W and 3W smart and connected using our IoT-enabled data analytics which helps EV players in making key business decisions. Founded by the alumni of IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi and ISB, Vecmocon is backed by the renowned VC investors - Tiger Global and Blume Ventures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and maintain machine learning models for multiple models for driving insights into EV usage.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to extract meaningful insights and identify opportunities for product improvement.
- Collaborate with engineers and product teams to integrate machine learning solutions into our online SaaS and Platform offerings for NBFCs and battery OEMs
- Design and conduct experiments to validate the performance and accuracy of machine learning models.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure to support data science projects.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and concise reports and presentations.
- Contribute to project planning and scheduling
- Coordinate with different teams like Product and others to design product interface
- Report to the business head of the vertical and have accountability for the modeling outcomes

Key Skills and Qualification:

- Bachelors’ or Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or R.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, data mining, and data visualization techniques.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and/or data processing tools (e.g., SQL, NoSQL databases).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with complex and ambiguous data sets.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of leading and mentoring data science teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Ability to work with complex and ambiguous data sets.
- Experience in developing machine learning models and designing initial model structure
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience with both model building and deployment
- Experience with mentoring junior members of the team as the role will evolve into a managerial role with time

**Job Type**: Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
