- Responsibilities_
- In this role, you will be responsible for all the activities related to accounts payable, which include:_

**_ _**
- _Spot source items to fill demands from purchase requisitions, requests for quotations, etc._
- _Prepares and/or modifies specifications and inquiry preparation, purchasing, expediting, quote analysis, and auditing for compliance to contract/negotiated price._
- _Ensures that all contract administration procedures are followed and uploaded in a central repository once the contract is executed by the sourcing group._
- _Responsible for assisting and advising with ongoing administration of contracts with suppliers and for ensuring adherence to established contract and procedures and requirements._
- _Monitors and communicates quality and delivery performance issues to suppliers, business users, and others, to determine source of trouble and take correction action._
- _Responsible to resolve supplier related problems. Works with suppliers and business users to assure a positive and professional relationship, always establishing and maintaining open lines of communication._
- _Supports business in preparations of estimates by contacting preferred/pre-approved suppliers for “budgetary pricing”._
- _Assists in the communication of procurement policies and procedures and makes recommendations as needed._
- _Continually assess operations to optimize the purchasing and logistics process through identifying cost reduction opportunities for the business._
- _Prepare Monthly Activity Report identifying buyer activity, supplier activity, cycle reports, etc._
- _Manages tasks and priorities of Procurement Coordinators_

- Qualifications we seek in you_
- Minimum Qualifications_
- _Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required._
- _Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in the purchase of goods or services_
- _Proven experience with reviewing, verifying and processing requisitions and purchase orders_

- _Experience negotiating with suppliers, building and maintaining supplier relationships, and providing excellent internal/external customer service_
