Lmc Convertor Operators

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented LMC Converter Operator to join our cardboard manufacturing team. As an LMC Converter Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring the efficient operation of the LMC (Linerboard/Medium/Containerboard) conversion machinery to create high-quality cardboards. Your expertise in machine operation, maintenance, and quality control will contribute directly to our production goals and product excellence.

**Responsibilities**:
**Machine Operation**:

- Set up, calibrate, and operate LMC conversion machinery according to established procedures and specifications.
- Monitor machine performance, make adjustments as needed, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production.
- Maintain consistent production output while adhering to quality standards and safety protocols.

**Material Handling**:

- Load raw materials (linerboard, medium, containerboard) onto the machine and ensure a steady supply throughout the production process.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of materials to prevent production disruptions.

**Quality Control**:

- Conduct regular quality checks on produced cardboards, ensuring they meet specifications and visual standards.
- Make necessary adjustments to the machine settings to maintain product quality and consistency.

**Maintenance and Repairs**:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks on the LMC conversion machinery to ensure its optimal performance.
- Identify and report any mechanical issues or malfunctions, and collaborate with maintenance personnel for timely repairs.

**Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to equipment operation, safety, and environmental regulations.

**Documentation**:

- Record production data, machine settings, and any adjustments made during the production process.
- Complete required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

**Team Collaboration**:

- Collaborate effectively with fellow team members, including machine assistants and maintenance personnel, to achieve production targets and maintain a smooth workflow.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machine operation or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience operating LMC conversion machinery or similar equipment in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to perform quality checks and make precise adjustments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols and procedures in an industrial setting.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
