**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Client Acquisition**: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the GIS sector, including government agencies, private enterprises, and other organizations in need of GIS solutions.
- **Relationship Management**: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- **Proposal Development**: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients, highlighting the benefits and value of our GIS solutions.
- **Market Research**: Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, client needs, and competitive landscape in the GIS field.
- **Sales Strategy**: Collaborate with the GIS team to create and implement effective sales strategies and campaigns tailored to the GIS market.
- **Performance Tracking**: Monitor and report on sales performance, client feedback, and market conditions, making adjustments as necessary to meet targets.
- **Negotiation**: Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable deals and ensure alignment with company goals.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with internal GIS teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects and solutions that meet client expectations.
**Qualifications**:
- **Experience**: 6 to 7 years of experience in business development within the GIS industry or a related field.
- **Skills**: In-depth knowledge of GIS technologies and solutions, including spatial data analysis, mapping, and related software.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to clients.
- **Analytical**: Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market trends and client needs effectively.
- **Networking**: Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certifications is a plus.
