Sales Force Administrator

Reporting to the Customer Care Commercial Director and matrixed into Global Customer Care, this new position will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Sales Force platform to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. This role will involve collaborating with sales, marketing, and IT teams to customize and enhance the Sales Force system to meet the organization's needs.

Core Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the Sales Force platform, including user management and data integrity.
- Customize Sales Force to support business processes and workflows, including creating and configuring custom objects, fields, layouts, and reports.
- Collaborate with CC sales teams to implement and optimize Sales Force automation tools, such as lead management, opportunity tracking, and campaign management.
- Provide technical support and training to Sales Force users, troubleshooting issues, and resolving system-related problems.
- Monitor system performance and usage to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Stay updated on new Sales Force features and best practices, recommending enhancements and updates to maximize system effectiveness.
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Custom Object Configuration:

- Analyzing business requirements to determine the need for custom objects. Creating custom objects to store additional data not captured by standard Sales Force objects.
- Defining custom fields within these objects to capture specific information relevant to the organization.
- Configuring relationships between custom objects and standard or other custom objects to establish data connections and dependencies.
- Setting up page layouts and record types to define how information is displayed and organized within custom objects.
- Implementing validation rules, workflows, and automation processes to ensure data integrity and streamline business processes associated with custom objects.
- Platform Setup:

- Configuring general system settings, such as language, currency, and time zone preferences.
- Setting up user profiles and roles to define access levels and permissions for different users within the organization.
- Customizing the Sales Force interface by enabling or disabling features, adjusting layout settings, and configuring navigation menus.
- Implementing security controls, including password policies, IP restrictions, and encryption settings, to safeguard sensitive data.
- Flow Building:

- Analyzing business processes to identify opportunities for automation and workflow optimization.
- Designing flow diagrams to visualize the sequence of steps and decision points within a business process.
- Building flows using the Sales Force Flow Builder tool, incorporating elements such as screens, decisions, loops, and data manipulation actions.
- Integrating flows with Sales Force objects and processes to automate repetitive tasks, streamline data entry, and enforce business rules.
- Testing flows to ensure they function as intended and address the organization's requirements.
- Monitoring flow performance and making adjustments as needed to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Advanced User Management (Custom Permission Sets):

- Creating custom permission sets to define granular access controls beyond standard user profiles.
- Assigning permission sets to users based on their roles, responsibilities, and specific access requirements.
- Configuring permissions within permission sets to control access to objects, fields, tabs, and system features.
- Reviewing and updating permission sets regularly to reflect changes in user roles or organizational requirements.
- Monitoring user activity and access logs to detect unauthorized access or unusual behavior.
- Providing training and support to users regarding their access rights and best practices for maintaining data security.
- Object Management:

- Creating and configuring standard and custom objects to store and organize data within the Sales Force platform.
- Defining object relationships, such as master-detail or lookup relationships, to establish connections between different types of data.
- Customizing object layouts, fields, and related lists to tailor the user interface to the organization's needs.
- Implementing validation rules, formulas, and workflow automation to enforce data integrity and streamline data entry processes.
- Monitoring object usage and performance metrics to identify areas for optimization or improvement.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements for new objects or changes to existing objects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Sales Force Administrator or in a similar role.
