This position within Branded cards Strategic Analytics team will conduct business analytics, reporting and analytics of stress loss-forecasting for branded cards portfolios. The responsibilities include but not limited to the following activities:
**Responsibilities**:

- Participate in credit risk analytics to support for big picture questions and portfolio trends through data analyses including profiling, sampling, forecasting/backtesting, new program due diligence and macroeconomic outlook
- Develop process enhancement solutions for reporting/MIS process and independently drive and execute automation projects within branded cards and act as SME for technology projects to senior stakeholder/broader team
- Developing analysis and reporting for cards portfolio making use of BI-tools like Tableau while maintaining ongoing BAU reporting/MIS and support occasional ad-hoc analysis presentation
- Liaising and following-up with IT team to drive project timely completion with ability to anticipate and proactively escalate impacts on project timeline
- Skilled to handle project hurdles through finding alternate path or solution to ensure timely delivery
- Work on multiple priorities through multitasking and excel in time management
- Tech savvy with hands-on expertise on automation technology like Autosys, BitBucket, EAP, etc.
- Proficient in UNIX, SAS, Tableau, Python (is a plus), any other programming language and BI tools
- Communication skills - Ability to translate and articulate technical thoughts and ideas to a larger audience including influencing skills with peers and senior management
- Understand applicable credit policies, industry regulations and the requisite impact of those governance items to prospective new partners or product initiatives
- Drive evaluation of alternate data, new tools, and techniques to establish a culture of innovation and drive strategic and sustainable growth for cards portfolios
- Conduct QA/QC on all steps (raw data, data processing and analysis/report outputs), perform validation of reported metrics against alternate data sources and reports and perform comparison against benchmarks
- Support governance processes through responding to adhoc queries and deliverables as necessary including End User Computing process related mandates.
- Establish and leverage partnership with functional teams, product CRO’s, governance teams and cross-functional teams.

**Qualifications**:

- 3-6 years of relevant experience
- Experience in financial analysis, accounting and valuation
- Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
