**Roles and Responsibilities**

1. Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks.

2. Oversee staff on a daily basis.

3. Check rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas for cleanliness.

4. Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence.

5. Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards.

6. Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job.

7. Respond to customer complaints and special requests.

8. Monitor and replenish cleaning products stock including floor cleaner, bleach and rubber gloves.

9. Participate in large cleaning projects as required.

10. Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas.

12. Stocks and maintain supply rooms, orders supplies according to a budget.

13. Receives, processes and handles guest complaints in regard to housekeeping services.

16. Organizes all staff during the day and hosts daily meetings with housekeeping staff.

17. Assists guests of patients with questions and basic requests.

18. Provide a high level of customer service at all times, remain professional.

19. Hires and fires housekeeping staff, trains new housekeepers after hire.

20. Meets with hospital officials regularly in order to provide progress reports and address issues.

Diploma in Health Sanitary Inspector.

Must Have relevant experience in a reputed hospital.
