QA Tester

Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Execution:
Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and design documents.

Perform manual and automated testing for functionality, usability, performance, security, and compatibility.

Conduct regression testing to ensure new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.

Bug Identification and Reporting:
Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

Communicate bugs and issues to development teams and follow up on resolutions.

Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to clarify requirements and user expectations.

Provide feedback and recommendations to improve user experience, functionality, and performance.

Documentation and Reporting:
Create and maintain detailed testing documentation including test reports, test summaries, and defect reports.

Prepare status reports and communicate testing progress to the QA lead and project stakeholders.

Automation and Tools:
Work with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP) to create, maintain, and run test scripts.

Identify areas for automation and contribute to the development of automation frameworks.

Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to software testing.

Suggest improvements to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

**1-3 years of experience in software testing (manual and automated).**

Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, Postman).

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Preferred:
Experience with API testing.

Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#) is a plus.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
