**Database Design and Architecture**:

- Design and implement database schemas for NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and DynamoDB, as well as SQL databases including PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- **Database Management**:

- Manage database instances to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Perform tuning and optimization of databases to enhance performance.
- **Data Security**:

- Implement security measures to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with data protection regulations such as GDPR and PCI DSS.
- **Data Backup and Recovery**:

- Develop and manage data backup and recovery strategies to maintain data integrity and availability in case of failures.
- **Database Integration**:

- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate databases with backend services.
- Implement data access layers and ORM/ODM solutions like Mongoose for MongoDB.
- **Monitoring and Maintenance**:

- Monitor database performance and health using tools like AWS CloudWatch.
- Conduct regular maintenance tasks including indexing, backups, and software updates.
- **Testing and UAT Support**:

- Ensure all database changes are thoroughly tested before deployment.
- Support the QA team during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by providing necessary data and addressing issues.
- **Deployment**:

- Prepare and deploy database changes using CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in database management, design, and deployment.
- Strong knowledge of both NoSQL and SQL databases.
- Familiarity with data security and privacy standards.
- Experience with cloud services and monitoring tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
