Scrub Nurse

**Job Title: Scrub Nurse - Joint Replacement Procedures**

**Location**: Thrissur, Palakkad, Malapuram
**Employment Type**: Full-time
**Travel Requirements**: High - Regional travel to hospitals and clinics

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist orthopedic surgeons during joint replacement procedures (hip, knee, shoulder, etc.) in the operating room (OR).
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies required for the procedure.
- Ensure proper aseptic techniques are followed before, during, and after the surgery.
- Provide intraoperative assistance by passing instruments and supplies to the surgeon.
- Maintain accurate documentation of the procedures, patient records, and inventory of surgical supplies.
- Assist in pre-operative patient preparation, ensuring all necessary checks are completed.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate needs and adjust to the dynamic environment of the operating room.
- Participate in the post-operative care and cleaning of the OR.
- Regularly travel to different hospitals or clinics to support joint replacement procedures across locations.
- Communicate effectively with surgeons, medical staff, and other team members to ensure smooth workflow and patient care.
- Follow and uphold all surgical protocols and safety guidelines.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Valid nursing license (BSc Nursing or GNM) and registration with [Specify relevant Nursing Council].
- In-depth knowledge of surgical instruments and sterile techniques.
- Understanding of orthopedic surgery workflows and OR procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with surgeons and healthcare teams.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
