**Job Summary**:
The R&D Purchase Specialist is responsible for sourcing and procuring materials, equipment, and services required for the company's research and development projects. This role involves working closely with R&D teams to understand their needs, identifying suitable suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining budgetary constraints.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Procurement Planning**: Collaborate with R&D teams to identify and forecast procurement needs based on project requirements and timelines. Develop procurement strategies to meet those needs efficiently.
- **Supplier Management**: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate terms and prices to secure the best value and quality for the company.
- **Order Processing**: Place purchase orders, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Address any issues related to order fulfillment, such as delays or discrepancies.
- **Budget Management**: Monitor and manage procurement budgets for R&D projects. Ensure purchases stay within allocated budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- **Contract Management**: Draft, review, and manage contracts with suppliers and service providers. Ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
- **Quality Assurance**: Work with R&D teams to ensure that procured materials and equipment meet the required specifications and quality standards.
- **Inventory Management**: Track inventory levels of critical materials and equipment. Manage stock to avoid shortages or overstock situations that could impact project timelines.
- **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and supplier agreements. Prepare and present reports on procurement performance and budget adherence.
- **Market Research**: Stay informed about market trends, new suppliers, and technological advancements that could benefit the R&D function. Provide recommendations for improvements and innovations in procurement practices.
- **Compliance**: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CPM, CIPS) are a plus.
- **Experience**: Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within an R&D or technical environment. Experience with contract negotiation and supplier management is essential.
- **Skills**:

- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- **Knowledge**:

- Understanding of research and development processes and materials.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
