**JOB DESCRIPTION FOR MIG WELDER**:
Ø Working as a MIG welder involves carrying out various welding functions.

Ø Given below is a MIG welder job description example, which highlights the major tasks, duties, and responsibilities of the role:
Ø Oversee the selection and procurement of materials and equipment required for MIG welding

Ø Measure and align workpieces using straightedges, clamps, and calipers

Ø Fill ducts with water/air and submerge in water to identify pipe leakage

Ø Assist plumbers, HVAC, and manufacturing engineers during construction

Ø Ensure compliance with established health/safety policies and regulations

Ø Carry out grinding and thermal cutting operations to obtain various textures and sizes for metal parts

Ø Measure and mark work pieces using straightedges, rules, and calipers

Ø Operate forklifts/cranes and use them in conveying work materials to welding site

Ø Collaborate with project managers and welding supervisors to ensure smooth work operations
