The Responsibilities of the Supervisor include the following:
**Direct Patient Care**
- Ensures proper admission, discharge of patients.
- Plans nursing care and make patients’ assignment as per their nursing needs.
- Assists in the direct care of the patient as and when required.
- She/he sees that total health needs of patients are met.
- Ensures safety, comfort and good personal hygiene of patient.
- Assists in planning and administration of the therapeutic diet to patient.
- Sees that helpless patients are regularly fed as per direction.
- Sees that proper observation records of the patients are made and necessary information imparted to the concerned authorities.
- Takes Nursing rounds with staff.
- Takes rounds with doctors.
- Implements doctors’ instructions concerning patient treatment.
- Assists patient and his/her relatives to adjust in the hospital and its routine.
- Oversees waste management, hygiene and infection control in their respective units.
- Co-ordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Biomedical, Engineering, Patient services, Billing department, Doctors, Pharmacy, and Dietary.
- Oversees timely diet services, investigations, reports, nursing care to patients.
- Plays an active role in counter checking administration of medications, nursing procedures, and transportation of lab specimens, blood and blood products and use of consumables.
- Raises Incident Report in case of any medication / non-medication errors.
- Checks Name, Sign, Date, and Time on Initial Assessment Guide, Drug Charts, Physician order sheet, and Pain documentation.
- Ensures implementation of Management of Information.
- To perform patient and family education.
- To perform IPSG whenever required as per the policy.
- Follows the Hazmat protocol in case of any spill.
- Ensures an ADR form is filled in case of any Adverse Drug Reactions.
- Responds to all code blue events and ensure patient care done as per guidelines.
- Respond to emergency situation and resolves issues with discussing with CNO/DNO/ANO/MD as required
- Co-ordinates patient care with other departments.

**Salary**: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
