**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Scheduling and Coordination**:
- Coordinate and manage the scheduling of surgeries and operating theatre times.
- Liaise with surgeons, nursing staff, and other departments to ensure proper coordination for surgeries.
- Ensure that all scheduled surgeries are confirmed and communicated to relevant parties.
- **Patient Documentation**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records for surgeries.
- Prepare and file preoperative documentation, consent forms, and any necessary medical records.
- Ensure patient identification and relevant medical history is properly recorded before surgery.
- **Inventory Management**:
- Assist in monitoring the availability of surgical supplies, equipment, and medications.
- Ensure that all necessary surgical instruments and materials are available for the scheduled procedures.
- Keep track of stock levels and inform the supervisor of any shortages or requisitions.
- **Communication**:
- Serve as a point of contact for any queries related to operating theatre scheduling, patient information, or surgical requirements.
- Communicate with various hospital departments (e.g., anesthesiology, pathology) to ensure proper preparation for surgeries.
- Notify patients and their families about surgery dates and provide preoperative instructions as needed.
- **Preoperative and Postoperative Support**:
- Assist in preparing the operating theatre by ensuring cleanliness and that necessary equipment is in place.
- Ensure patients are prepared for surgery and guide them to the operating room.
- Keep track of surgeries’ progress and maintain accurate records of surgical times and outcomes.
- **Billing and Financial Administration**:
- Assist in processing billing information for surgeries and related services.
- Ensure that all required documents for insurance claims are completed and forwarded to the appropriate department.
- Track payments, patient billing queries, and ensure the correct documentation is submitted.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**:
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols regarding cleanliness, sterilization, and patient safety in the operating theatre.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow privacy laws related to patient information.
- Keep records of all materials used during surgeries for audit and regulatory compliance.
- **Other Duties**:
- Provide administrative support for the operating theatre team as required.
- Assist in the management of on-call staff schedules and emergency surgeries.
- Participate in meetings and report on operating theatre performance and inventory.
Pay: ₹12,219.70 - ₹20,000.00 per month
