**Job Title**: Kathak Dance Instructor

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Dance Instruction**: Provide individual and group instruction in Kathak dance, focusing on techniques such as footwork, hand movements, spins, and expressions (abhinaya).
- **Rhythm and Taal Training**: Teach students to recognize, understand, and perform complex rhythmic patterns and taals commonly used in Kathak.
- **Choreography and Repertoire Development**: Develop and teach traditional and innovative Kathak choreographies suitable for students’ skill levels and interests.
- **Storytelling and Expression**: Guide students in the expressive storytelling elements of Kathak, including facial expressions, gestures, and body language.
- **Performance Preparation**: Organize and prepare students for recitals, showcases, and cultural performances to exhibit their skills and progress.
- **Curriculum Development**: Design and implement a progressive curriculum that includes the fundamentals of Kathak, with pathways for students to advance in skill and artistry.
- **Feedback and Assessment**: Regularly assess students' progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
- **Cultural Education**: Educate students about the historical, cultural, and spiritual significance of Kathak, enhancing their appreciation and understanding of the art form.
- **Mentorship and Motivation**: Inspire students to pursue excellence in dance, nurture their passion for Kathak, and help them develop self-confidence and discipline.
- **Administrative Responsibilities**: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, manage class schedules, and communicate with parents or guardians about students’ progress and achievements

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 1 per week
