Kolaba Coffee Roasters is seeking a skilled and passionate Italian Commis Chef to join our dynamic team in Gurgaon. As an Italian Commis Chef, you will play a crucial role in delivering authentic Italian cuisine to our customers. You will work closely with our Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation are consistently maintained.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation and cooking of Italian dishes according to recipes and standards set by the Head Chef.
- Responsible for dough preparation and pizza preparation.
- Execute all tasks efficiently and with attention to detail, ensuring that food is prepared to the highest quality and presentation standards.
- Handle and prepare ingredients, including meat, vegetables, and other components, ensuring freshness and quality are maintained at all times.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and organize daily tasks, including prepping ingredients, setting up stations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service during busy periods.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating any shortages or discrepancies to the Head Chef.
- Assist in developing new dishes and menu items, contributing creative ideas and suggestions to enhance the culinary offerings.
- Maintain knowledge of current trends in Italian cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques, staying updated on industry developments.
- Uphold the company's standards for customer service, professionalism, and teamwork, contributing to a positive and collaborative work culture.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or management to support the smooth operation of the kitchen and restaurant.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience working as a Commis Chef or similar role, with a focus on Italian cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of Italian cooking techniques, ingredients, and traditional recipes.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, handling multiple tasks and prioritizing workload.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with a passion for delivering high-quality food.
- Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Formal culinary education or training from a recognized institution is preferred but not essential.
- Food hygiene and safety certification is an advantage.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

- Weekend availability
