**Job Title**: Buyer

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct market research to identify new trends, products, and suppliers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to develop assortment plans and product strategies.
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust purchasing strategies as needed to meet demand and minimize excess stock.
- Stay informed about industry developments and competitor activities.
- Work closely with the marketing team to plan promotions, sales, and events.
- Ensure that all purchased products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Track and report on key performance indicators, including sales, margins, and inventory turnover.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field.
- 6 to 8 Years of experience in retail buying, preferably in F&V or FMCG.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
- Knowledge of retail math and inventory management principles.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
