The Role
Are you a tech-savvy problem-solver with a passion for ensuring optimal network performance? If so, look no further - Kyndryl is seeking a Network Support Specialist who will be the go-to expert for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer networks.
You will work alongside a talented team of experts to plan and execute routine network changes, troubleshoot and solve network issues and outages, and maintain excellent communication with our end customers, project managers, and service engineers. You’ll be responsible for maintaining network components, monitoring network performance, and maintaining network security. You will also be providing user support for network-related issues, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of support possible.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- As a Network L1+ Engineer, you will be supporting clients and will have to demonstrate in one or more networking technology domain area with willingness to work in any shift.- You will also be involved in deploying, configuring, troubleshooting and operational maintenance of LAN/WAN networks OEMs (Cisco /FortiGate etc.)- Excellent written and oral communication skills- Working knowledge of Cisco Networking and Fortigate firewalls.- Experience with TCP/IP, networking, and DNS, SMTP, and HTTPS- Hands on experience with VLANs and BGP routing.- Excellent oral and written communication skills- Experience in Operating Systems tuning and configurations.- A minimum of 3+ years of overall experience in IT Network infrastructure Domain with proven experience in Network Operations.- Routing & Switching - Cisco (IOS, Nexus).- Security FortiGate

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise:
- Proven knowledge and experience in trouble-shooting, switching, and routing- 3+ years of working experience in Networking- Minimum CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge- Experience with Network security, WAN- Working knowledge of ITIL- Location : Bangalore- Qualification: BE/ BTech/MCA/Diploma.
