**Role Description**
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team for the new Two Wheeler Electric Chetak Dealership. This is a full-time position based in our office in Cochin, with a focus on supporting the financial operations of our new venture. The Accounts Assistant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with various accounting tasks, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets for the Two Wheeler Electric Chetak Dealership
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely, specifically related to the new dealership
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data for the dealership
- Assist with payroll processing and related activities for employees of the new dealership
- Monitor and track expenses for the dealership, ensuring adherence to budgets
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes for the new venture
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information for the dealership
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and files specifically for the new dealership
- Collaborate with other team members and departments as needed for the successful operation of the Chetak dealership
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in the automobile industry
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally) and MS Office suite
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations
**Salary**: ₹14,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
