Job Title:

- Belt & Leather Good’s Merchandiser

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and develop merchandising strategies that effectively balance

customers' expectations and company goals.
- Analyse sales figures, customer reactions, and market trends to anticipate

product needs and plan appropriate product ranges and stock quantities.
- Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors, and analysts to negotiate

prices, quantities, and time-scales, ensuring timely product delivery.
- Maximize customer interest and sales levels by strategically displaying

products to attract attention and promote purchases.
- Produce layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves and inventory to

ensure optimal product presentation and availability.
- Forecast profits and sales, and effectively plan budgets to maximize

profitability.
- Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price

changes, and clear-outs to optimize inventory turnover.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships, collaborating with

channel partners to develop a strong sales pipeline and close deals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and merchandising trends to

continually improve our strategies and processes.

Requirements and Skills:
- Proven working experience in merchandising, preferably in the retail industry.
- Highly creative with a track record of identifying target audiences and devising

engaging and motivating campaigns.
- Up-to-date with the latest merchandising trends, techniques, and best

practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively

convey ideas and information.
- Strong listening, presentation, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and the ability to understand and analyse

customer behaviour and preferences.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.

**Salary**: ₹150,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
