**Job Title: Company Secretary**
**Company: Integrated Assessment Services (IAS)**
**Location: Flexible (Can involve international travel and relocation)**

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Establishing Presence in New Countries**: Lead the process of expanding IAS operations into new countries, including setting up offices, establishing legal entities, and obtaining necessary permits and licenses.
- **Ensuring Regulatory Compliance**: Monitor and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements in all countries where IAS operates. This includes understanding and adhering to local tax laws, labor regulations, and corporate governance standards.
- **Auditing and Guiding Accounts Staff**: Provide guidance and support to accounts staff in various countries, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards. Conduct periodic audits to assess financial practices and identify areas for improvement.
- **Coordinating with Local Accounts Auditors**: Collaborate with local accounts auditors to conduct audits, review financial statements, and address any discrepancies or issues. Serve as the main point of contact between IAS and external auditors.
- **Facilitating Visa and Stay Requirements**: Assist the organization's top management in fulfilling visa and stay requirements in new countries, liaising with immigration authorities and government bodies as necessary.
- **Risk Management**: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with international expansion and develop strategies to mitigate them. Ensure that appropriate risk management protocols are in place to safeguard the interests of the organization.
**Requirements**:
- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or international business management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Experience in international expansion or global operations is highly desirable.
- **Knowledge**: Strong understanding of international accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance principles. Familiarity with visa and immigration procedures in multiple countries is a plus.
- **Adaptability**: Willingness to travel internationally and relocate as necessary to support IAS expansion efforts. Flexibility to work across different time zones and adapt to varying cultural norms and business practices.
- **Strategic Thinking**: Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate future challenges and develop proactive solutions. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity.
