**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures by setting up surgical instruments, sterile drapes, and equipment.
- Assist the surgical team during operations by passing instruments and supplies, holding retractors, and anticipating the surgeon's needs.
- Maintain a sterile field and adhere to aseptic techniques to prevent infections.
- Perform surgical counts with the circulating nurse to ensure all instruments and sponges are accounted for before, during, and after surgery.
- Assist in the preparation and disposal of specimens taken for laboratory analysis.
- Ensure all surgical equipment is functioning properly before and during surgery.
- Monitor the patient’s condition during surgery and report any concerns to the surgical team.
- Assist with the cleaning and restocking of the operating room after procedures.
- Stay updated on the latest surgical techniques and procedures through continuous education and training.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid nursing license from the Nursing Council of Tamil Nadu.
- Certification in perioperative nursing (preferred).
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Scrub Nurse in a hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and aseptic techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity and ability to handle delicate instruments.
- Ability to lift and move surgical equipment.

**Work Environment**:

- Fast-paced, high-stress environment within an operating room setting.
- Requirement to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including surgical masks, gloves, gowns, and eye protection.

Pay: From ₹12,500.00 per month
