Hod Geography

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Department for Geography at our ICSE school. The HOD Geography will be responsible for leading the Geography department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education, and fostering a positive learning environment for students.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Curriculum Development**: Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum for Geography in line with ICSE standards, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies and educational best practices.

2. **Instructional Leadership**:Provide guidance and support to Geography teachers, ensuring the effective delivery of lessons and the use of varied teaching strategies to engage students effectively.

3. **Assessment and Evaluation**: Oversee the design and implementation of assessment strategies to evaluate student learning outcomes, and provide constructive feedback to students and teachers.

5. **Administrative Duties**: Manage administrative tasks related to the Geography department, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management.

6. **Collaboration**:Collaborate with other HODs and school leadership to promote interdisciplinary approaches to learning and coordinate cross-curricular initiatives.

7. **Parent and Stakeholder Engagement**: Establish and maintain effective communication channels with parents, guardians, and relevant stakeholders to keep them informed about student progress and departmental activities.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Post Graduate degree in Geography or a related field, along with a B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Geography at the ICSE level.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders in a team-oriented environment.
- Preferred immediate joiner.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: ₹44,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
