Hostel Warden

**1. Resident Welfare and Safety**

Ensuring the safety, security, and overall well-being of all hostel residents.

Being available for emergencies and providing immediate assistance when required.

Monitoring health and safety standards in the hostel premises.

**2. Discipline and Order**

Enforcing hostel rules and regulations and taking disciplinary action when necessary.

Ensuring adherence to curfew timings and monitoring entry and exit of residents.

Addressing complaints and resolving conflicts among residents.

**3. Facility Management**

Supervising the maintenance of hostel facilities and coordinating with the maintenance team for repairs.

Ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and an orderly environment in the hostel.

Managing supplies for hostel needs and ensuring proper use of resources.

**4. Administrative Duties**

Keeping records of hostel occupancy, admissions, and exits.

Managing room allocations, transfers, and vacation schedules.

Handling documentation, such as incident reports, visitor logs, and attendance records.

**5. Counselling and Support**

Providing guidance and counselling to residents, especially for personal or academic issues.

Supporting residents in adjusting to hostel life, especially new students.

Serving as a mentor or approachable authority figure for residents.

**6. Event Coordination**

Organizing hostel events, meetings, and recreational activities to promote community bonding.

Facilitating orientation sessions for new residents on hostel policies and culture.

**7. Liaison with Authorities**

Communicating with hostel management, university administration, or law enforcement if required.

Ensuring that the hostel functions in compliance with regulations laid down by higher authorities.

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
