Railway Draughtsman

**Job Overview**:
The Railway Draughtsman will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for railway projects. This role involves working closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure that designs are accurate, functional, and comply with all relevant standards and regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Prepare Technical Drawings**:

- Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings for railway infrastructure projects, including tracks, bridges, tunnels, and stations.
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce accurate and detailed plans.
- **Collaborate with Engineers**:

- Work closely with civil, structural, and electrical engineers to develop design plans.
- Modify designs based on feedback from engineers and other stakeholders.
- **Ensure Compliance**:

- Ensure that all designs comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines.
- Conduct checks to ensure drawings meet the necessary quality and accuracy standards.
- **Document Management**:

- Maintain and update all project-related drawings and documents.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation for project submissions and approvals.
- **Site Visits**:

- Conduct site visits when necessary to gather data, take measurements, or verify drawings against actual conditions.
- Provide technical support during the construction phase to resolve any drawing-related issues.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MicroStation).
- Strong technical drawing skills with attention to detail.
- Good understanding of engineering principles and construction methods.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and plans.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
