About the Role:
As a Lead DevOps Engineer , you'll individually contribute and spearhead the design, deployment, and fortification of our CI/CD infrastructure, ensuring smooth sailing for our development pipelines. Your expertise will extend to managing container orchestration, service mesh, serverless architecture, API gateways, and our observability stack, guaranteeing optimal performance and scalability. Collaboration with developers will be key as you engineer abstractions to elevate the developer experience.
Requirements:
At least 7-10 years experience in delivering large scale highly available distributed systems
CI/CD experience with Jenkins and cloud deployment technologies like Code Deploy (AWS), and/or GitLab.
Hands-on in a programming/scripting language such as Bash/Shell/Python.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, using Terraform, CloudFormation, or other tools.
Strong knowledge of operating systems, databases, networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP)
Understanding of different kinds of infra components such as DB/pub-sub services/cache etc
Experienced building multi-tenant, multi-regional infrastructure hosted in public (AWS/GCP/Azure)
