Job Title: COBOL + ASSEMBLER

Location: (Available WFH)

Experience required: 3 to 15 years.

Job description:


Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain mainframe applications using Assembler, CICS, and COBOL.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements to existing applications.

Perform code reviews, debugging, and unit testing to ensure the quality and reliability of the developed software.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to mainframe applications in a timely manner.

Document technical specifications, user manuals, and release notes for developed applications.


Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in mainframe development, with a strong focus on Assembler, CICS, and COBOL.

Proficient in coding, debugging, and testing mainframe applications.

Solid understanding of mainframe architecture and core technologies.

Experience in working with DB2 databases is highly desirable.

Familiarity with mainframe support processes and procedures.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
