Datacenter Administrator will monitor and administer datacenter server operations. This individual ensures that system hardware, firmware, operating systems, and software adhere to organizational standards, with a primary focus on ensuring consistency and security using all appropriate tools and technologies. The successful candidate will be expected to perform system implementations and patching/upgrades that may occur after normal business hours as required and will participate in a rotating 5-day work-week schedule that will include some Saturdays to minimize the business impact of maintaining a critical infrastructure.


Technical Skills:

· Manage and maintain VMware infrastructure, encompassing multiple ESX hosts and virtual servers.

· Deploy, configure, and optimize VxRail and Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure solutions.

· Provision, configure, and manage file servers, SQL servers, and database servers to support business operations.

· Provide support for virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions such as AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop) and Citrix.

· Systems Monitoring - Datadog and ServiceNow Event Manager monitoring and alerting systems for issues. This will also include monitoring the cloud-based infrastructure and any upcoming tools. Taking appropriate action on the issues. Run and review daily reports to identify and rectify problems as required.

· Backup/DR ownership and support - Monitor backup consoles Druva/Rubrik for failed jobs and execute remediation plans. Monitor DR compliance. Test Backup and Recovery of global systems through Zerto/ASR.

· Handle software licensing agreements for tools and applications, including negotiation with vendors to optimize costs and ensure compliance.

· Prioritize and triage support tickets related to infrastructure, tools, applications, and licensing, ensuring timely resolution within defined SLAs.

· Patching – Monthly patching of servers and vulnerability remediation of Windows, Linux, Sandbox, Bastion hosts, AWS/Azure hosted servers via Tanium template patching

· Certificate Management: Public/Private IIS internal CA, DigiCert

· Participate in changes focused on datacenters and local offices infrastructure, reviewing proposed changes, planning implementation, and ensuring smooth execution.

· Perform Upgrades: VMware, Nutanix, and DataDog. Firmware, Tableau, Alteryx, Citrix Netscaler, and VxRail.

· Assist in decommissioning and removal of infrastructure components, ensuring proper disposal and documentation.

· Maintain elevation sheets and documentation for infrastructure layouts and configurations to support planning and troubleshooting activities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Troubleshoot and Solve IT infrastructure issues working with Business, IT partners and various IT teams.

· Maintain deep hands-on technical expertise to assist technical teams in resolving issues in production environments in high pressure situations. This includes all aspects of implementation including configuration, integration, testing, and troubleshooting.

· Experience in IT- Infrastructure Projects. Infrastructure domain knowledge is essential.

· Must have good time management skills and be able to meet rigid and urgent assignment schedules.


Qualification:

· 5 Years relevant experience in respective field.

· Solid knowledge of administering Windows and Linux Servers.

· Sound understanding of Active Directory/DNS

· Demonstrated practical knowledge of VxRail, VMware, Nutanix, DataDog, Tanium, Druva/Rubrik, AVD

· Demonstrated knowledge if iSCSI SAN and other storage technologies

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.

· Strong knowledge and experience in Windows administration.

· Hands-on experience with Terraform, Azure and AWS.

· Good knowledge of API integration & API orchestration.

· Excellent communication, collaboration & documentation skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
